The heart of this package is the Model 700 Long Range in .30-06. It uses a 26 inch heavy-contour, non-fluted carbon steel barrel with a recessed crown, matte finish, and an unthreaded muzzle. The 1:10 twist is appropriate for common .30 caliber bullet weights in this chambering.
The receiver is carbon steel with a matte blued/oxide finish, paired with a composite stock finished black with gray/white spider-web. The stock features a straight comb, pistol grip, rubber buttpad, and a bedding block for rigidity. Dual sling swivel studs are installed, and the length of pull is 14.0 inches. Feeding is via a BDL hinged floorplate with a 4-round internal magazine for a 4+1 total capacity.
Mounted to the rifle is the Remington 2020 digital optic system powered by TrackingPoint. This unit provides 3-21x digital zoom, an integrated laser rangefinder, an onboard ballistic computer, Wi‑Fi streaming/recording, and the Tag/Track/React interface. Controls are labeled TAG, WIND, ZOOM, and POWER, and the optic uses an integrated mount.
Operational notes from the prior owner indicate the optic is fully functional. We are unable to test the actual functionality of this optic. The included power accessories are provided; the charging cable does not work. When plugged in, the dual-bay charging dock briefly lights up but does not charge the batteries. The rifle carries the Remington REP oval proof and EH date code, and it was made in the United States.
