The SP2022 is built on a black polymer frame with an exposed spurred hammer and a stainless-steel slide finished in silver for a clean two-tone look. Rear slide serrations aid manipulation, and the external extractor provides positive case control. The full-size profile offers a stable sighting plane and controllable handling.
Its short-recoil, locked-breech system pairs with a DA/SA trigger and a frame-mounted decocker, giving the shooter a traditional double-action first shot and single-action follow-ups. There is no manual safety. Controls are straightforward and purpose-built for service use.
Sights are fixed, 3-dot iron sights set into dovetails front and rear, allowing secure alignment and reliable point of aim. The 3.9-inch barrel balances sight radius with practical carry and duty use.
An integrated M1913/Picatinny accessory rail on the dust cover supports common weapon lights or lasers. Interchangeable backstraps and textured grip panels allow the grip to be tailored for hand size and control.
