This rifle is a Spanish-produced Mauser Model 1893 long rifle built at the Oviedo arsenal in 1920. The receiver carries the crowned "FABRICA DE ARMAS OVIEDO 1920" crest, and the serial shows a C prefix with mixed-numbered components noted on the bolt and floorplate/trigger guard.
The action is the classic small-ring Mauser with an integral charger/stripper-clip guide. It uses a straight bolt handle with a round knob and a flag safety. Feeding is from a 5-round internal magazine with a hinged floorplate, giving a 5+1 maximum capacity.
Sighting equipment includes a barrel-mounted tangent/ladder rear sight paired with a fixed blade front sight. The front band incorporates a sling swivel and a bayonet lug/bar. The long 29.1 inch barrel remains in service configuration, and the cleaning rod is present.
The rifle wears a blued steel receiver and components and is stocked in a one-piece hardwood straight-grip stock with a cross-bolt. Length of pull measures 13.25 inches. This configuration aligns with period Spanish service features and Mauser platform standards.
