The DB15 is a direct-impingement, semi-automatic AR-15 chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 16-inch threaded barrel and a Diamondback two-chamber muzzle brake installed. Its slick-side upper deletes the forward assist while retaining a brass deflector, and the flat-top Picatinny rail is T-marked for easy reference. The ejection port cover is stenciled "5.56 NATO."
An aluminum free-float M-LOK handguard provides mounting slots with a full-length top rail. It includes textured M-LOK panel inserts for grip and a QD sling socket. A polymer M-LOK hand stop is installed for added control, and polymer flip-up front and rear sights come mounted.
Ergonomics and controls are well-appointed with an ambidextrous charging handle, a flat-faced single-stage trigger, a Magpul ACS adjustable stock, and a Magpul polymer pistol grip. The rifle wears an FDE finish on the receivers and handguard paired with black furniture.
Feeding is via the STANAG/AR-15 magazine interface, and this rifle comes with two 30-round Magpul PMAG windowed magazines. It ships with a hard rifle case and the Diamondback DB15 manual. Additional details include a bolt carrier marked with the DB shield logo and USA manufacture.
