Chambered for 2 1/2-inch shells only, this Axe .410 uses a 5-round tubular magazine with a side loading gate and a removable inner magazine tube. The large-loop lever provides confident cycling, and capacity is 5+1 with 2 1/2-inch shells.
The steel receiver and barrel wear a blued finish, paired with an American walnut forend and the distinctive birdshead "axe-handle" grip. A transfer-bar safety is integrated. The Henry cowboy logo is factory-engraved on the bottom of the grip, adding a subtle, brand-authentic detail.
The smoothbore steel barrel is threaded for Invector-style choke tubes and comes fitted with a screw-in choke. The muzzle uses Invector-style choke threads, giving you compatibility with that pattern. This model is specifically designed for 2 1/2-inch .410 Bore shells.
Sighting equipment on this specimen includes a brass bead front and an adjustable rear sight with a stepped elevator. The receiver is drilled and tapped for Weaver 63B mounts, and plug screws are installed at the factory.
