This Tisas ZIG M1911 A1 Government is a full-size, 5-inch .45 ACP reproduction of the M1911A1 with a matte gray finish and classic GI-style details. It is single-action only with a short trigger, grip safety, and manual thumb safety. Marked with the Tisas Knoxville, TN import stamp and Made in Turkey, it includes two 7-round magazines and ships with factory accessories.
The pistol features period-correct elements such as a spur hammer, arched checkered mainspring housing, standard ejection port, and fixed GI sights with a small front blade and small rear notch. The slide uses rear-only, vertical serrations for a traditional profile. It wears double-diamond checkered wood grips, with the factory brown checkered grip panels included but not installed.
Both slide and frame are finished in matte gray for a uniform, utilitarian look. The barrel hood is marked ".45 ACP," and the underside of the barrel reads "ZIG M1911 TISAS Made in TURKEY." The frame bears the importer mark "TISAS KNOXVILLE, TN." The single-stack magazine system provides a 7+1 capacity in .45 ACP.
Two 7-round 1911 .45 ACP magazines are included and are marked 'Made in Italy.' A Tisas factory hard case, owner's manual, and takedown tool round out the package.
