Chambered in .338 Winchester Magnum, this Model 700 BDL uses a 24-inch blued sporter-profile steel barrel with a recessed crown for protection at the muzzle. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and the rifle carries Remington REP proof and inspector's marks. The barrel code "KG" is present and denotes May 1986 assembly.

The deluxe walnut Monte Carlo stock includes a right-hand cheekpiece and point-pattern checkering for a secure hold. Classic BDL details are present: a black fore-end tip with white-line spacer, a black pistol-grip cap with white-line spacer, and a Remington recoil pad with a white-line spacer. Sling swivel studs are installed, and the length of pull measures 13.5 inches.

The push-feed action uses twin front locking lugs and a plunger ejector, paired with a two-position safety. Feeding is from an internal magazine with a 3-round capacity. The left side of the receiver is rollmarked "Remington MODEL 700."

This rifle has been thoughtfully configured without iron sights. The original front sight ramp was removed, and the muzzle screw holes are neatly plugged. A one-piece scope base with rings is installed, offering a solid platform for the buyer's chosen optic.

Built in the United States during the 1980s, this Model 700 BDL combines the classic Remington deluxe configuration with practical updates. The result is a clean, straightforward big-game rifle in a proven magnum chambering, with period-correct markings and features.
