The BT-100 Grade I is a dedicated trap gun with a single-shot, break-action layout and 1-round capacity. The receiver is polished blued steel with "BT-100" in gold, and the gun is marked with Browning import lines for Morgan, Utah & Montreal P.Q., along with "Made in Japan." NP proof marks and inspection symbols are present.
The 32 inch SPECIAL STEEL barrel is ported near the muzzle to help manage muzzle rise. It wears a high-post ventilated rib and a white front bead for a clear sighting reference on the trap line. The barrel uses the Invector-Plus threaded choke system and is fitted for extended tubes.
Stocked in walnut, this trap configuration includes a Monte Carlo comb and a beavertail forend, both with checkering for secure purchase. An adjustable comb allows precise point-of-impact tuning. A recoil-reducing adjustable buttplate assembly with a rubber pad is installed, and the length of pull is set at 15.0 inches.
The shotgun uses a single, gold-finished trigger. Markings include "SPECIAL STEEL" and "INVECTOR-PLUS" on the barrel. Matching assembly number "03140" appears on the forend iron and barrel underlug, consistent with the receiver’s numbering sequence.
