Two-piece scope bases and 1-inch rings are installed, and the bore condition is excellent.

Made in Japan by Howa for Weatherby, this Mark V Deluxe carries the desirable South Gate, California rollmark. The H-prefix serial denotes Japan-era production, pairing classic Weatherby branding with high-quality Japanese manufacturing.
The rifle uses a right-hand Mark V action with a bright, fluted bolt body and gas relief ports. A two-position safety is positioned on the bolt shroud for straightforward operation.
It wears a 24-inch blued sporter-contour barrel with no open sights. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and it comes fitted with two-piece scope bases and 1-inch rings.
The high-gloss walnut Monte Carlo stock shows skip-line checkering and a checkered pistol grip. It is finished with a ventilated recoil pad and white line spacer, and includes a sling swivel stud. Length of pull is 13.5 inches.
Feeding is from an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate, providing a 3+1 capacity. Chambering is 7mm Weatherby Magnum, and the metal carries a consistent blued finish throughout.
