Marked for 20 GA LW Magnum use, it combines a polished blued steel receiver with high-gloss walnut furniture and right-hand ejection.

Built on the Model 870LW small-frame 20-gauge Magnum receiver, this shotgun is purpose-marked on the left side of the receiver as "Remington MAGNUM Wingmaster MODEL 870LW." It ejects to the right and uses dual action bars for consistent, reliable cycling. The cross-bolt safety includes a red indicator band for clear, at-a-glance status.
The 28-inch barrel is rollmarked "20 GA. LW MAGNUM for 3 inch shells" and is configured with a ventilated, matted rib and a single front bead sight. It is chambered for 3-inch shells, carries a fixed Modified choke, and has a modified bore. Capacity is 2+1.
The receiver is polished blued steel, matched by a blued barrel. The walnut stock wears a high-gloss finish and features a pistol grip with fleur-de-lis pressed checkering. A ventilated recoil pad with a white-line spacer and a grip cap with bird medallion complete the classic Wingmaster look. Length of pull is 14.0 inches.
Proof and inspection markings include the "REP" in oval proof and Remington proof/inspection symbols on the barrel. This U.S.-made Wingmaster dates to the 1980s and represents the lightweight 20-gauge Magnum configuration that many shooters favor for its balance and handling.
