The Maxus Stalker Gen 1 uses Browning's Power Drive gas system for reliable cycling across a range of 12 gauge loads. It features the Speed Load Plus system with speed unload and a magazine cut-off lever, giving the user fast, controlled loading options from the magazine and the ejection port.
The 26 inch steel barrel is vent-ribbed, back-bored, and threaded for the Invector-Plus flush choke system. This example is configured with a 3 1/2 inch chamber and includes a Cylinder choke. The barrel carries the factory "USE WITH 3 1/2 receiver only" marking. Ejection is to the right side.
The receiver is aluminum alloy with a matte black finish, matched to a black composite stock and Speed Lock forearm. The stock includes Browning's Inflex recoil pad and textured grip panels, plus a rear sling swivel stud. A cross-bolt safety and the gold-colored Lightning Trigger round out the controls.
Sighting is straightforward with a single front bead. The gun retains Browning proof and origin markings: "Browning Arms Company Morgan, Utah, Made in Portugal by Browning Viana."
