Steyr AUG/A3 M1 NATO 5.56mm Bullpup, Long Top Rail, 16 in CHF Quick-Change Barrel, Tan/Black
This Steyr AUG/A3 M1 is the NATO variant with the AR-pattern magazine well and long full-length 1913 Picatinny top rail. It features a 16 inch cold hammer forged, quick-change barrel with a threaded muzzle and A2 flash hider, plus an adjustable gas regulator for its short-stroke piston system. The rifle is finished in tan polymer with a black aluminum receiver and includes an installed aftermarket aluminum railed handguard and Magpul vertical grip, along with the original Steyr folding vertical foregrip and a 30-round Magpul PMAG.

Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.

The AUG/A3 M1 NATO configuration uses a STANAG-compatible magazine well, allowing the use of common AR-pattern magazines. This example includes one 30-round Magpul PMAG and is set up with the model’s long, full-length 1913 Picatinny top rail for mounting optics or accessories.
The 16 inch barrel is cold hammer forged and quick-change, with a 1:9 RH twist for 5.56mm NATO. It is threaded and fitted with an A2 flash hider. An adjustable gas regulator tunes the short-stroke gas piston system to the rifle’s operating conditions.
Controls and handling include a non-reciprocating left-side charging handle and a cross-bolt safety. The bullpup layout delivers an overall length of approximately 28.15 inches with a listed length of pull of 15.0 inches.
The rifle uses a reinforced synthetic polymer stock and frame in tan, paired with a black aluminum receiver. A rear sling loop is integrated. An aftermarket bolt-on aluminum railed handguard and a Magpul vertical grip are installed, and the original Steyr folding vertical foregrip is included.
