The M4 Tactical uses Benelli’s gas-operated A.R.G.O. system with dual short-stroke pistons, designed for dependable cycling. It is chambered for 2 3/4 and 3-inch 12-gauge shells and offers a 7+1 capacity with its standard configuration. The 18.5-inch steel barrel balances maneuverability with pattern performance.
Sight alignment is fast and precise with a protected front post and an LPA adjustable ghost-ring rear. A cylindrical charging handle and a cross-bolt safety provide straightforward controls. A rail on the receiver is present.
The receiver is aluminum with a black anodized finish, matched to a black synthetic stock and two-piece ribbed polymer fore-end. The fixed, pistol-grip stock includes an integral sling slot and a Benelli-logo recoil pad, with a 14.0-inch length of pull.
This example includes a receiver-mounted six-shell carrier for on-board ammunition management. Markings include BENELLI-ITALY on the receiver, BENELLI ARMI S.P.A.-URBINO-MADE IN ITALY on the barrel, LPA ITALY on the rear sight base, and a bolt marked "BENELLI ARMI SYSTEM."
