Built around a semi-automatic, long-stroke gas piston system with a closed rotating bolt, this Gen II ACE uses a milled steel upper mated to a polymer lower for durability and balance. Controls include an ambidextrous safety selector and a paddle-style magazine release with an extended design and left-side button. The 16-inch CrMoV steel barrel is cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined, and threaded, capped with a three-prong flash hider. Its 1:9.45 RH twist is optimized for the caliber, and the bore condition is excellent. A left-side reciprocating charging handle rides in a spring-loaded dust cover slot for added protection.
Furniture and interface features include a side-folding hinge with an AR-style receiver extension and a telescoping, collapsible stock with a raised cheek section. Length of pull is adjustable to approximately 13–16.5 inches. The free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard includes a QD socket, and a continuous 18-inch Picatinny top rail spans the receiver and handguard.
