    What’s Included

    • 1x 40rd magazine
    • 1x 5rd magazine
    • Clamp-on birdcage-style muzzle device (installed)

The 182-series serial prefix places this rifle around 1980 production and reflects the early Mini-14 pattern with iron sights. The receiver is roll-marked “RUGER MINI-14 CAL. .223.” along with the Southport, Connecticut address, denoting .223 Remington chamber marking typical of the period. Made in the USA, it represents an early-generation configuration valued for its straightforward, rugged build.

Construction is stainless throughout the receiver and barreled action with a stainless finish. The hardwood stock has a straight-comb profile and is paired with a matching wood upper handguard. A four-screw gas block with an integral front sling swivel anchors the system. Length of pull measures 12.75 inches.

The 18.5-inch barrel is paired with iron sights: a ramped blade front post set back from the muzzle and an adjustable aperture rear sight with protective wings. This sighting setup is simple, durable, and consistent with the model’s early design.

The action is gas-operated with a fixed short-stroke piston and rotating bolt, inspired by the Garand/M14 lineage. Capacity is listed at 40+1 with the included extended magazine, and the package includes both a 40-round and a 5-round detachable box magazine for flexibility. A clamp-on birdcage-style muzzle device is installed.
