The 20-inch round barrel uses Marlin's Micro-Groove rifling and is paired with a hooded ramp front sight and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight with a stepped elevator, giving a clear sight picture. Twin barrel bands secure the barrel and full-length magazine tube.
It is chambered in .30-30 Winchester and feeds from a 6-round full-length tubular magazine. The action is a standard-size lever with a cross-bolt safety. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches.
The stock and handguard are wood with a pistol-grip profile. A black grip cap with a white-line spacer and a matching black buttplate with a white-line spacer complete the classic look. Sling swivel studs are installed for carry options.
