Made in Belgium by FN, this rifle carries Belgian Liège proof marks along with the "MADE IN BELGIUM" and "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q." barrel address. The L73 suffix confirms 1973 production, with a matching bolt number noted.
It is built on the FN Mauser controlled-round-feed action with a long claw extractor, paired with an internal box magazine and a hinged floorplate for a 4+1 capacity. The action layout and magazine system reflect the classic Browning Safari Grade configuration.
The 24-inch steel barrel has a sporter contour and recessed crown, complemented by iron sights consisting of a hooded ramp front and a barrel-mounted open rear sight. The metal surfaces wear a high-polish blued finish across the barrel and receiver.
The high-gloss walnut Monte Carlo stock is set up for right-hand use with a cheekpiece, cut checkering, and dual cross-bolts. It includes a pistol grip with cut checkering, a ventilated recoil pad with a white-line spacer, and sling swivel studs. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches.
