This M&P 12 uses dual independent magazine tubes with a push-button selector. The tubes hold 7+7 with 2-3/4 inch shells or 6+6 with 3 inch shells, and the listed capacity is 14+1. The 3 inch chamber also accepts minishells for additional versatility.
The 19.5 inch barrel is made from 4140 chrome-moly vanadium steel and is Rem-Choke threaded. A cylinder choke is installed, and a modified choke is included. The threaded muzzle follows the Rem-Choke pattern for straightforward choke changes.
Its bullpup configuration keeps overall length to 27.8 inches while maintaining a 14.5 inch length of pull. Bottom loading and downward ejection support ambidextrous use. An ambidextrous action release and AR-style two-position safety levers further simplify operation from either shoulder.
A full-length 1913 Picatinny top rail is integrated, and the shotgun ships with no factory sights. The polymer M-LOK slotted shroud/forend and M&P textured grip provide mounting space and secure handling. The steel receiver and matte black finish complete a durable, full-size build.
For maintenance and problem-solving, a reciprocating cover with a release button aids in clearing damaged shells. The design emphasizes reliable function with straightforward controls and a robust construction made in the United States.
