The magnum-length CROSS action is purpose-built for cartridges like the 7mm PRC. This rifle uses a right-hand bolt with a textured teardrop knob for positive manipulation and feeds from an AICS-pattern steel detachable magazine with a stated 5+1 capacity.
The 24 inch PROOF Research carbon-fiber wrapped barrel is cut from 416R stainless steel, features a 1:8 twist, and is threaded 5/8x24. A stainless multi-port radial muzzle brake is installed to manage recoil, and the threaded muzzle allows easy device changes as needed.
The aluminum receiver and chassis wear a durable Moss Cerakote finish. Up top, a full-length 1913 Picatinny rail with T-marked slots and 20-MOA cant provides a solid mounting surface along the entire receiver/handguard span. The free-floating aluminum M-LOK handguard includes an integrated ARCA interface for quick tripod or sled attachment.
Ergonomics are anchored by a folding precision stock with an adjustable cheekpiece, adjustable length of pull, and an adjustable buttpad for height and offset; length of pull is set at 13.0 inches. Controls include an AR-style ambidextrous safety and a SIG SAUER AR-pattern polymer pistol grip.
