The 16-inch barrel is clearly marked "5.56 NATO 1/7" and features a threaded muzzle with an A2 flash hider. A carbine-length gas system and a pinned A2 front sight base with sling swivel provide a familiar, proven configuration. The bore condition is excellent, with sharp rifling and a mirror finish.
The flat-top A3 upper includes an integral Picatinny rail, forward assist, and ejection-port dust cover, with an "A" forging mark. A flip-up rear sight is installed on the receiver rail to complement the fixed A2 front sight base.
Internals are highlighted by a nickel-boron finished bolt carrier group. The ambidextrous extended-latch charging handle carries U.S. Pat. D893662 and offers enhanced manipulation, while the rifle operates via a direct-impingement system and uses a manual safety selector.
Furniture is FDE throughout, including a Magpul MOE collapsible carbine stock and MOE pistol grip. Two-piece, ribbed, FDE polymer handguards are retained by a delta ring. The length of pull adjusts from approximately 10.5 inches to 13.5 inches.
Made in the United States, this PA-15 accepts AR-15/STANAG magazines and has a 30+1 capacity. One 30-round Magpul PMAG is included.
