Built on LaRue's OBR platform, this 7.62 NATO/.308 Win rifle uses a billet 7075-T6 aluminum receiver set and a direct-impingement, semi-automatic operating system. Factory markings include LaRue branding on the upper and ejection-port cover, with OBR identification on the T-marked top rail. The bolt carrier is hard-chrome finished and carries the LaRue logo.
The 18-inch barrel is threaded and fitted with a two-chamber muzzle brake/compensator. LaRue's XTRAXN Technology is identified on the handguard collar. The SR-25/M110-pattern magazine interface supports the included Magpul PMAG LR/SR GEN M3 25-round windowed magazine for a 25+1 capacity.
A continuous T-marked Picatinny rail runs the full length of the 12 o'clock, and the free-float OBR tubular handguard features oval ports and threaded inserts. A 3-slot rail section is installed at the 6 o'clock position for accessory mounting. An integral brass deflector is incorporated into the upper.
This rifle is outfitted with a PRI Gas Buster charging handle, Magpul MIAD grip, and a Magpul MOE SL-K carbine stock. The stock adjusts through six positions, providing a length of pull from 12 to 15.5 inches.
