It retains the right-side ejection port and heel-type magazine catch of the Standard series, along with clear Southport, Conn. rollmarks. Included are one 10-round magazine and a Bianchi International M12 holster.

Construction is all steel, with a tubular receiver and an internal cylindrical bolt left in the white, plus a right-side ejection port. Factory rollmarks include the right-side legend "RUGER 22 CAL. LONG RIFLE AUTOMATIC PISTOL." and the left-side legend "STURM, RUGER & CO. SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A." The pistol was made in the United States.
Controls and takedown follow the familiar Standard series layout: a heel-type magazine catch at the butt, and a rear-latch takedown mainspring housing. Checkered black synthetic grip panels with Ruger eagle medallions provide a secure hold without adding bulk.
The included steel single-stack magazine follows the Ruger Standard heel-catch pattern, and the Bianchi International M12 holster (OD green) adds carry and storage flexibility.
