This XM15-E2S is a current-production, USA-made Bushmaster A2-pattern rifle built around a 20-inch chrome-lined, threaded barrel and a rifle-length gas system. It retains the classic fixed carry handle with A2 iron sights, a fixed A2 stock, and round ribbed rifle-length polymer handguards. Produced in the post-2021 Nevada era, it carries Bushmaster’s hardcoat-anodized aluminum receivers and the correct A2 birdcage flash hider.

The rifle follows the classic A2 configuration: a fixed carry handle with an integrated A2 rear sight and an A-frame front sight base with bayonet lug. The round, ribbed rifle-length polymer handguards and fixed A2 stock with A2 pistol grip complete the correct profile and ergonomics.
Its 20-inch barrel is chrome-lined and threaded, capped with the proper A2 birdcage flash hider. The rifle-length gas system complements the full-length barrel for traditional A2 performance. Catalog notes specify a phosphate/chrome-lined barrel and a chrome-lined bolt carrier group.
Receivers are aluminum with a matte black hardcoat anodized finish. The standard magazine release and STANAG-pattern magazine interface support common 30-round magazines, and this example includes one aluminum 30-round magazine marked .223/5.56 AL.
