The TRG-22 action uses a tri-lug bolt with a 60-degree lift for fast cycling and strong lock-up. A cocking indicator at the rear of the bolt shroud provides immediate status at a glance. The rifle feeds from Sako’s detachable, center-feeding staggered-row box magazine; capacity is 5+1 with the included 5-round magazine.
The 26-inch heavy cylindrical barrel is chambered in .308 Win and is factory threaded, with the thread protector installed. Barrel markings read ".308 Win. Made in Finland." This example retains the factory heavy contour for consistent harmonics under sustained strings.
The classic TRG fixed stock is synthetic with aluminum reinforcement and features an adjustable cheekpiece (thumbwheel) and an adjustable buttpad. The pistol-grip style wrist and TRG-pattern forend support stable, repeatable positioning. Length of pull on this rifle is 15.25 inches.
The forend integrates the TRG proprietary accessory rail with a bipod interface. On top, a receiver-top Picatinny rail is installed, and a rail-mounted bubble level is fitted to aid precise setup.
The steel receiver is marked "SAKO TRG-22," and the rifle carries Finnish proof marks along with the Beretta U.S.A. Corp., Accokeek, MD import mark. The overall finish is black, consistent with the TRG pattern.
