The SPC9 PDW configuration brings a compact 9mm package with a 6 in threaded barrel and a 30+1 capacity. Its hydraulic buffer system is engineered to moderate impulse, complementing the platform’s controllable, hydraulic-assisted blowback operation.
Controls are deliberate and familiar. The gun provides dual charging options with a forward, left-side, non-reciprocating folding charging handle and an AR-style T-handle at the rear. It adds ambidextrous safety selectors and a left-side bolt catch/release for efficient manipulation.
Stock and interface features are purpose-built. A telescoping two-rod PDW-type stock and a B&T polymer pistol grip with horizontal serrations support a solid shoulder and consistent hand purchase. A full-length 12 o’clock 1913 top rail and a short 6 o’clock accessory rail offer mounting real estate for compatible accessories.
Construction and markings reflect B&T’s modular approach. The aluminum upper and polymer lower keep weight and durability in balance, and the SPC9 family’s interchangeable, non-serialized lowers provide cross-compatibility, with the B&T-pattern magazine lower shown here. Markings include B&T Thun, Switzerland, B&T USA Tampa, FL, and the Swiss cross-in-shield emblem.
