The slide features a flat, ribbed top with both front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation. Sight alignment is fast and precise thanks to a red fiber-optic front and a black serrated rear that is adjustable for elevation and drift. The slide carries the "CZ SHADOW 2 COMPACT" legend.
Ergonomics are purpose-built: a pronounced beavertail and an undercut trigger guard promote a high grip, while aggressive frontstrap and backstrap checkering enhance control. The curved, polished trigger shoe, ring-style spur hammer, and left-side magazine release support deliberate, repeatable operation. Safeties include an ambidextrous manual thumb safety and a hammer safety notch.
