The Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 pairs a 16" cold hammer forged, chrome-lined barrel with a mid-length gas system and a free-float MFR 15.0 M-LOK handguard. It features an earth-tone brown/bronze hard-coat anodized finish, ambidextrous safety, and the company’s patented Bolt-Up mounting system. Built on forged 7075-T6 receivers and weighing about 6.2 lb, this rifle is a well-executed AR-15 platform from Black Creek, Georgia.

The 16" barrel is made from chrome-moly-vanadium steel and is cold hammer forged, chrome lined, and threaded 1/2x28. It wears the Daniel Defense improved flash suppressor and uses a government profile for a balance of handling and durability. The direct impingement system is tuned with a mid-length gas setup.
The free-float Daniel Defense MFR 15.0 handguard is 6061-T6 aluminum and includes a continuous, T-marked Picatinny top rail. It provides ample M-LOK mounting real estate and integrates QD sling cups. This rifle also includes M-LOK Picatinny rail sections installed on the handguard for ready accessory mounting.
Receivers are forged 7075-T6 aluminum with a hard-coat anodized earth-tone brown/bronze finish. The upper shows an A-forging mark, and the receiver is marked DDM4V7. Daniel Defense’s patented Bolt-Up system (U.S. Pat. 7,716,865) secures the handguard for rigidity and alignment.
Ergonomics include a telescoping stock with rubberized panels and QD sling sockets, plus a Daniel Defense rubberized pistol grip. An ambidextrous safety selector is factory installed. Factory specs list overall length at 32.25"–35.88", length of pull at 10"–13.5", and weight at approximately 6.2 lb. Capacity is 30+1 with the included PMAG.
