The AMT Automag III stands out for its .30 Carbine chambering in a stainless steel, long-slide pistol. Constructed with a stainless steel frame and slide, this single-action, short-recoil, locked-breech design uses a long slide with an integral solid top rib and rear cocking serrations. A spurred external hammer and a frame-mounted thumb safety with a red indicator dot provide a familiar manual interface.
The sighting system pairs a fixed ramped front sight with a white dot to a square-notch rear sight with two white dots. The rear sight is pinned to the slide and is adjustable for windage and elevation, giving precise control at the range. The right-side ejection port and single-column magazine layout support reliable operation.
