The VP9SK is a striker-fired, locked-breech 9mm built on a glass-fiber-reinforced polymer frame with a durable gray finish and a black slide for a clean two-tone look. The 3.39 in barrel is cold hammer forged with polygonal rifling, supporting long service life and consistent performance.
The slide uses HK's Hostile Environment protective finish and includes front and rear serrations, VP-series rear charging supports, and a red striker status indicator at the back of the slide. Ambidextrous slide release levers and a paddle-style ambidextrous magazine release provide fully bilateral controls.
Ergonomics are enhanced with a textured grip and interchangeable backstrap and side panel system to fine-tune hand fit. Sights are a high-visibility green front dot paired with a black serrated rear notch for a clear sight picture.
