Stocked in walnut, the rifle features a Monte Carlo raised comb and a pistol grip for consistent cheek weld and control. The length of pull measures 15 inches, and a Thompson/Center rubber buttpad helps anchor the rifle in the shoulder. A smooth walnut rifle forend completes the classic look.
Construction is steel with a uniform blued finish on the barrel and receiver. The external hammer has a grooved spur for confident cocking. Front and rear sling swivel studs are installed for easy sling attachment.
Made in the United States, the barrel is rollmarked "Thompson/Center Arms Rochester, New Hampshire." The rollmark and serial range point to pre-2010/2011 Rochester-era production, aligning this rifle with the earlier manufacturing period of the Encore line.
