Built as a Centennial Edition honoring 100 years of the .30-06 Springfield (1906–2006), this Model 1885 High Wall Hunter combines classic single-shot design with distinctive factory embellishments. Manufactured in 2006 by Miroku for Winchester, this rifle has a 28-inch full-octagon steel barrel finished in gloss blue and drilled and tapped for a scope base. The box label notes "NS," indicating no sights are installed from the factory.
The action is the traditional single-shot falling block with an external hammer and a top-tang sliding safety. Capacity is one round. The steel receiver is finished to match the barrel in gloss blue, and the overall fit and finish align with the High Wall Hunter series.
Stock furniture is checkered walnut with a black rubber recoil pad and sling swivel studs. Medallions include "WINCHESTER 30-06 SPRG." on the left side and "CELEBRATING 100 YEARS" with the "W" logo and "1906–2006" on the right. Proofs and markings read "U.S. REPEATING ARMS CO., NEW HAVEN, CT, U.S.A. JAPAN/MIROKU, WINCHESTER TRADEMARKS LICENSED FROM OLIN CORPORATION."
