This P226 Legion SAO is a full-size 9mm with a 4.4 in barrel and 15+1 capacity, built around a single-action-only system with an external hammer. The flat-faced trigger and ambidextrous thumb safeties define the SAO configuration and provide a consistent, crisp trigger press.
The slide and frame wear the Legion Gray Cerakote finish, paired with an aluminum alloy frame for durability. A checkered front strap and checkered trigger guard enhance control, while the extended beavertail supports a secure grip. Legion-pattern grips with medallions complete the package.
Sighting is handled by SIG X-RAY day/night tritium sights, with a green-dot tritium front and a square-notch rear featuring two tritium vials. Front and rear cocking serrations aid slide manipulation in varied conditions.
