This SCCY CPX-2 from the Hammer Series is a compact 9mm pistol with an internal-hammer, double-action-only system and a two-tone look. It pairs a stainless slide with a polymer grip frame and an internal 7075-T6 aluminum receiver. The pistol features steel 3-dot sights with an adjustable, screw-retained rear, a 3.1 inch barrel, and a 10+1 capacity. Built in Daytona Beach, Florida, it is lightweight at 15 oz and configured with left-side controls and no external manual safety.
The CPX-2 uses a recoil-operated system with a long, consistent DAO trigger pull. It will fire without a magazine installed and uses a push-button magazine release on the left side. The slide has rear serrations only and includes a left-side slide stop and an external takedown pin on the left. The standard slide has no optic cut.
