The P226 AL SO pairs a German-made slide with an aluminum-alloy service frame configured with a three-slot SIG-profile accessory rail. The black PVD finish provides a uniform, low-glare appearance across slide and frame. Rear slide serrations only keep the classic P226 profile and handling characteristics.
Its hammer-fired, DA/SA, short-recoil system uses a decocker and a spurred hammer, delivering the traditional P226 manual of arms. The full-size configuration uses the standard 4.4 in barrel and textured polymer grip panels for a solid, repeatable hold.
Fixed contrast sights feature a white-dot front and a rear with a vertical white bar. The rear sight base is marked "6," reflecting the sight height selection used on this build. Sights are set in the classic bar-dot pattern for quick visual alignment.
Markings include DE and CIP N proofs with "MADE IN GERMANY" on the slide, verifying German production and proofing. The serial numbers on the slide, barrel, and frame match, and the package includes a serial-matched factory test target, consistent with SIG Germany QA practices.
Capacity is 18+1 in 9mm Luger, and two 18-round magazines are included, with one magazine body marked "MG-P226-17" by Mec-Gar. A SIG hard case, manuals, grease, and sight adjustment tools round out the factory-style kit.
