The receiver is drilled and tapped and arrives with two-piece scope bases installed.

The Super Grade Maple series showcases a gloss-finished curly maple stock with a shadowline cheekpiece, ebony fore-end tip, cut checkering, and a black recoil pad. Inletted sling swivel studs and a single cross-bolt with a rosette cap complete the classic Super Grade furniture and hardware.
The action uses pre-'64-style controlled-round feed with a claw extractor and fixed blade ejector, paired with a jeweled bolt for smooth cycling. Winchester's three-position safety and the M.O.A. Trigger System deliver confident handling at the bench and in the field. Length of pull is 13.5 inches.
Its 22 inch hammer-forged, free-floating sporter barrel has a recessed crown and a 1:12 twist, wearing a polished blued finish. The receiver is steel, polished blued, and drilled and tapped. There are no iron sights, and two-piece scope bases are already installed.
