    What’s Included

    • Marlin Model 99 M1 .22 LR semi-automatic rifle

This Model 99 M1 operates on a semi-automatic blowback action and is chambered in .22 LR, feeding from a tube magazine under the barrel with a 9+1 capacity. It uses a right-side charging handle and right-side ejection port, with a cross-bolt safety for straightforward controls at the wrist of the stock.

Construction combines a blued steel barrel with a black alloy receiver. The hardwood stock is paired with a separate wooden upper handguard, echoing M1 Carbine styling. A barrel band with an integral front sling swivel and a rear sling swivel in the buttstock support sling use. Additional factory touches include a gold-tone trigger and a hard buttplate featuring a molded "Marlin" logo and a white line spacer. Length of pull measures 13.75 inches.

Sighting equipment consists of a flip-style rear sight. The front sight is not present on this rifle, and the muzzle is bare. The rear sight remains in place for basic alignment, should a replacement front sight be installed by the next owner.

Originating from Marlin’s New Haven, Connecticut production, this rifle reflects a 1960s–1970s era build. The barrel rollmark includes "New Haven, Conn., U.S.A." and this example bears the common "serial number exempt" marking found on many pre-1968 Marlin rimfire models. The overall package delivers the recognizable M1 Carbine profile in a lightweight .22 LR format.
