The Steyr AUG A3 M2 delivers the compact handling of a bullpup with a proven short-stroke gas piston system and a fast quick-change barrel. This U.S.-made example features a full-length MIL-STD-1913 top rail, a 16 in cold hammer-forged nitrided barrel with factory flash hider, and the standard AUG magazine configuration. It is marked with correct Steyr receiver and barrel rollmarks and shows excellent overall condition.

The AUG A3 M2 is a true bullpup, delivering an approximate 28.1 in overall length with a 16 in barrel, giving you carbine maneuverability without sacrificing barrel length. The receiver is marked "STEYR ARMS, INC. AUG A3 M2 BESSEMER, AL" and "MULTI CAL," while the barrel is marked "5.56x45 1:9 MADE IN USA."
Its short-stroke gas-piston, rotating-bolt system is paired with a non-reciprocating left-side charging handle featuring a forward-assist button. An external bolt-release button sits behind the magazine well for efficient reloads. The platform accepts standard AUG-pattern magazines and is not configured for NATO/STANAG mags.
The quick-change 16 in barrel assembly is cold hammer-forged and nitrided, threaded at the muzzle, and fitted with the factory flash hider. A folding vertical foregrip is integrated on the barrel assembly for secure control. Twist rate is 1:9, and chambering is 5.56mm NATO (5.56x45).
Metal components wear Steyr's Mannox nitrided finish, and the black polymer stock includes a fixed buttpad with a 14.5 in length of pull. A full-length MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny top rail and a left-side accessory rail segment provide mounting real estate. Capacity is 30+1, and this rifle includes a Magpul MS1 sling with an installed Magpul RSA-QD rail sling mount.
