What’s Included
- Smith & Wesson Model 622 Target .22 LR pistol
- Four 10-round Smith & Wesson logo-marked steel magazines
The Model 622 Target uses a blowback, single-action system with a right-side, frame-mounted thumb safety that includes a red fire indicator. The slide rides above the barrel, creating a low-bore-axis layout, and features vertical rear serrations for confident manipulation.
The 6-inch fixed steel barrel is slab-sided with a recessed crown and is retained by a slotted muzzle nut. This configuration delivers a stable sight radius and a clean, purposeful profile tailored to target use.
Sights are fully adjustable iron sights: an integral serrated ramp front and an adjustable rear. Together, they provide a clear and tunable sight picture for rimfire target work.
The pistol combines a silver aluminum-alloy frame with a stainless-steel slide, keeping weight to about 23.5 oz with an overall length of approximately 10 inches. Checkered walnut grips with S&W medallions offer a secure, classic feel.
Chambered in .22 LR with a 10+1 capacity, it shares the magazine pattern with the S&W 422/622/2206 family. This example includes four factory-style steel magazines to keep you on the line longer.
