Winchester Model 94 Ranger Angle Eject .30-30 Lever-Action Carbine, 20 in Barrel, New Haven Production, Tasco 3-12x40 Scope
This Winchester Model 94 Ranger Angle Eject carbine pairs the classic .30-30 chambering with New Haven, U.S.A. production and a 20 inch barrel in Winchester Proof Steel. It features an angle-eject receiver that allows true over-bore scope use, and it comes set up with a Tasco 3–12x40 scope on an over-bore, see-through mount. The carbine retains a blued steel finish with a smooth, straight-grip hardwood stock and cross-bolt safety from the 1992–2002 configuration.

The Ranger-series Angle Eject configuration is designed for over-bore scope use while retaining the Model 94’s compact carbine profile. This example uses a 20 inch barrel and a full-length tubular magazine in the classic .30-30 chambering, with factory drill-and-tap holes on the receiver for scope mounting.
Optics are already installed: an over-bore, see-through receiver mount with rings and a Tasco 3–12x40 scope with a 40 mm objective. The setup is mounted over-bore in line with the rifle’s angle-eject receiver.
Sights are traditional open irons, including a ramped front blade and a folding, elevation-adjustable rear leaf. The front sight hood is not installed at the time of photos.
The stock set is plain hardwood with a straight grip and smooth surfaces, and the length of pull measures 13.5 inches. Sling swivel studs are fitted, and a leather sling with a padded, tooled shoulder section is attached.
This carbine is New Haven USRAC production with a blued steel receiver and Winchester Proof Steel barrel. It uses the cross-bolt safety configuration associated with the 1992–2002 period.
