This full-size stainless pistol retains the familiar 1911 control layout while adapting it to the .357 Magnum cartridge. It uses a 5-inch linkless barrel with a conventional muzzle bushing and an external extractor, anchored in a stainless-steel slide and frame with a non-railed dust cover. Rear cocking serrations are vertical for a secure grasp.
Operating is single-action and recoil-operated, with a left-side thumb safety and grip safety. The fire-control setup includes a checkered spur hammer and a skeletonized 3-hole, two-stage, pivoting trigger, providing a crisp, 1911-type trigger press.
Sight regulation is straightforward with a dovetailed front blade featuring a white dot and a square-notch rear that is elevation-adjustable. Capacity is 7+1, and the included Coonan factory magazines are engineered to stagger rimmed .357 Magnum cartridges to avoid rimlock.
