This Model 700 Ultimate Muzzleloader is roll-marked "MODEL 700 ULTIMATE ML" and uses Remington's U.M.L. ignition system with primed centerfire brass and Remington 9½M Large Rifle Magnum primers. The design delivers a straightforward, single-shot inline operation with a bolt-action interface familiar to Model 700 users.
The 26 inch fluted, heavy-contour stainless barrel features a recessed crown, paired with a matte/bead-blasted stainless barreled action. The 1:26 twist rate is cut for .50 caliber muzzleloading projectiles, and the jeweled bolt body with a checkered/knurled bolt knob provides a positive, controlled feel.
The synthetic stock comes in black with a light gray webbed texture and includes a straight comb, rubber recoil pad, full-length aluminum bedding block, and sling swivel studs. Length of pull measures approximately 14 inches, providing a solid fit for most shooters.
The receiver is stainless and matte finished, drilled and tapped, and fitted with two-piece Weaver-style scope bases. Two thimbles secure the ramrod, and the hinged floorplate stores three primed brass modules. Capacity is single-shot (1 round). This model is made in the United States.
