This limited configuration features Gen II Desert Sage Cerakote with the magwell marked "LIMITED Series." Receivers are 7075-T6 aluminum, and the rifle is made in the USA. The right side is marked DD4V7, and the upper is marked 5.56, aligning with the model and caliber designation.
The 16 inch chrome-moly-vanadium steel barrel is cold hammer forged, chrome-lined, and government profile with a mid-length gas system and pinned low-profile gas block. It is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted with an A2 flash suppressor. A 1:7 twist rate supports a wide range of 5.56 NATO projectiles.
Controls are fully ambidextrous on the DD4 lower, including ambi bolt catch/release and selector. The Daniel Defense GRIP-N-RIP ambidextrous charging handle and H buffer complement the operating system. The factory Geissele SSA two-stage trigger provides a precise, repeatable break suitable for accurate shooting.
The Daniel Defense MFR 15.0 free-float M-LOK handguard (6061-T6 aluminum) provides ample mounting space with an uninterrupted 1913 top rail and T-marks. Daniel Defense fixed rail-mounted front sight and the A1.5 fixed rear sight are included. The collapsible stock features textured panels and a rubber buttpad, paired with a Daniel Defense pistol grip. Capacity is 32+1.
