Built on the proven BPS platform, this Field model combines practical features with classic Browning touches. It has a 28-inch steel barrel with a vent rib, matted rib surface, and a single bead front sight for clean sight alignment. The barrel is threaded for the Invector-Plus choke system, with a Modified choke installed and additional Full and Improved Cylinder tubes provided.
The blued steel receiver is factory engraved with a left-side game scene showing three ducks in an oval surrounded by scroll, and the underside carries the Browning Buckmark in gold. This engraving style matches standard production from 1991–1998. The receiver and barrel carry the import mark: BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. – MADE IN JAPAN.
This shotgun is chambered for both 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells and holds 2+1 rounds. Controls and handling are straightforward and familiar: bottom loading and ejection, dual action bars, and a tang safety. Length of pull measures 14 inches.
