It features a through-hardened stainless-steel barrel and black Melonite-treated slide, steel 3-dot sights, and an integral 3-slot Picatinny accessory rail. This example includes five 10-round magazines.

The M&P45 1.0 full-size pairs a Zytel-reinforced polymer frame with a stainless-steel chassis and a striker-fired action. This No Thumb Safety configuration keeps the controls streamlined while retaining factory safety systems.
The 4.5 in through-hardened stainless-steel barrel and black Melonite slide provide durability and corrosion resistance. The slide wears front and rear scalloped serrations for confident manipulation, and the barrel hood is marked "45 AUTO."
Ergonomics are supported by palm-swell textured grip panels with the S&W medallion and an integral 3-slot Picatinny accessory rail for lights or lasers. Overall length measures 8.05 in with an approximate empty weight of 29.6 oz.
Sighting is via steel dovetailed 3-dot sights, with a white-dot front and a two-dot Novak Lo-Mount rear. The hinged two-piece trigger incorporates a hinged trigger safety, complemented by an internal striker block and a sear deactivation lever. The slide is marked "CAUTION—CAPABLE OF FIRING WITH MAGAZINE REMOVED."
