The X95 platform uses a long-stroke gas piston with a closed rotating bolt, delivering consistent operation in a compact bullpup layout. Controls include a two-position ambidextrous safety selector and a left-side, forward charging handle. A right-side ejection-port cover and a NATO STANAG magazine interface support wide compatibility with standard 5.56 magazines.
The 16.5-inch barrel is CrMoV steel, cold hammer forged, and chrome-lined, with a 1:7 twist for 5.56 NATO. It is threaded at the muzzle and fitted with an A2-pattern birdcage flash hider. The barrel is marked "5.56 NATO 1:7," "CHF/CL," and "MADE IN ISRAEL."
The reinforced polymer chassis is finished in black and incorporates an integrated buttpad. A vented fore-end includes an integral 6 o'clock accessory rail, and the full-length numbered Picatinny top rail provides continuous mounting surface. Length of pull is 14.5 inches.
Sight configuration is clean and open: no front or rear sight is installed on this example. Factory folding iron sights are not present or deployed.
Markings include "TAVOR - X95" with the IWI round logo and "IWI US – HARRISBURG, PA" on the receiver. Additional markings include a P proof mark and "MADE IN ISRAEL" on the barrel. Capacity is 30+1.
