This Soviet Arms SA-47 GF3 is a recent U.S.-made AKM-pattern rifle built with GF3 components and classic laminate wood furniture. It features a 16 in nitrided 4150 steel barrel with M14x1 LH threads, a stamped steel receiver with magazine well dimples, and an AK side-mount optics rail. The rifle is chambered in 7.62x39 and comes in very good overall condition with an excellent, mirror-bright bore.

The SA-47 GF3 uses a stamped AKM-pattern receiver with magazine well dimples and a ribbed dust cover. The GF3 generation includes a hammer-forged front trunnion, bolt, and carrier, providing a robust core assembly. The receiver carries an AK side-mount optics rail for mounting compatible side-rail optics.
The 16 in barrel is made from 4150 steel and finished in a corrosion-resistant nitride treatment. It is threaded M14x1 LH, with the muzzle shown bare in the photos, and uses a 1:9.5 twist for 7.62x39. A 45-degree gas block and long-stroke gas piston system complete the classic AKM layout.
Furniture is laminate wood with a grey-stained fixed stock (13.0 in length of pull), a wood pistol grip, and a wood lower handguard with palm swell. The upper handguard is vented. Controls include a paddle-style magazine release and a traditional manual safety/selector.
Iron sights consist of a hooded front sight post and a tangent rear sight leaf graduated to 800 m. Receiver markings include: "SOVIET ARMS • WEST COLUMBIA, SC • CALIBER: 7.62x39mm • MODEL: SA-47, GF3" with the triangular Soviet Arms/PSA-style logo.
