This Rock Island Armory M1911 A1 FS Tactical II is a full-size .40 S&W 1911 with a 5-inch barrel, Series 70-pattern operation, and a durable black parkerized finish. It comes equipped with an LPA adjustable rear sight and an orange fiber-optic front sight for clear sight alignment, plus a flared magwell and textured grip panels for confident handling. Four 10-round magazines are included.

The FS Tactical II configuration brings useful upgrades to the classic 1911 platform. It features a beavertail grip safety with memory bump and a manual thumb safety, a skeletonized rowel hammer, and a medium-length, three-hole skeletonized trigger. The checkered mainspring housing with a flared magazine well funnel and vertical front strap serrations support fast, positive reloads and secure purchase.
Sighting is handled by an LPA adjustable rear with two white dots paired to a dovetailed orange fiber-optic front blade. The slide has rear serrations and a lowered ejection port. The right side carries the factory legend "M1911 A1 – FS – TACT II," while the barrel hood is marked "CAL. 40 S&W."
The pistol uses a Series 70-pattern tilting-barrel operating system with a full-length guide rod, a standard barrel bushing, and a GI-style spring plug. It is built on a steel frame with a steel slide, both finished in black parkerizing. Black/gray textured G10-style grip panels complete the setup.
This single-stack .40 S&W 1911 runs on 10-round magazines (10+1 capacity). Proof and import markings include "APINTL – PAHRUMP NV ACP PHILIPPINES," and the pistol is manufactured in the Philippines by Rock Island Armory.
