Built in Belgium and Liège proofed, this Model 1500 reflects Pedersen Custom branding from the O.F. Mossberg division, with production circa 1973–1975. The proofs include the crowned ELG in oval, the Perron inspection mark, lion over PV, and starred inspector letters. Metric chamber and bore markings are present, including the 12-70 chamber stamp and bore stamps 18.2 and 18.5.
It is configured with 28-inch steel barrels, a blued finish, and a ventilated rib topped by a single front bead. Chambers are 2.75 inches (12-70), with a two-round capacity typical of an over/under sporting gun.
The break-action boxlock design uses double underlugs for secure lockup. Ejection is via twin ejectors, described as automatic in the period catalog. The monoblock is model marked "1500," and matching serial numbers are observed on the receiver, forend iron, and barrel assembly.
The shotgun wears checkered walnut furniture with a pistol grip, and a rubber buttpad. Light geometric/rosette factory engraving appears in panels ahead of the top lever. Period literature lists the weight at approximately 7.5 lb.
