This Ultra Carry II features a 3-inch, bushingless, match-grade, ramped bull barrel with a full-length guide rod, optimizing lockup and reliability in a compact 1911 format. The barrel and slide setup is designed to run smoothly with the lowered and flared ejection port and rear cocking serrations.
The two-tone finish combines a matte black slide with a satin silver aluminum alloy frame for reduced weight and a clean visual contrast. The frame is marked "YONKERS NY USA," confirming Kimber’s U.S. manufacture.
Controls include a checkered magazine release, a beavertail grip safety, a thumb safety, and the Series II firing pin block. The flat, checkered mainspring housing and front strap checkering enhance purchase.
