This Raging Bull is built on a stainless steel frame with a matching matte stainless cylinder and receiver, giving it strength and corrosion resistance. The black rubber finger-groove grip with a red cushioned backstrap provides a secure hold and helps manage recoil from heavy loads.
The 6.5-inch barrel is factory-ported and paired with a ventilated shroud and full underlug, designed to reduce muzzle rise and aid shot-to-shot control. The revolver uses a robust dual cylinder-lock system with both a rear latch and a front crane latch.
Chambered in .454 Casull and also capable of firing .45 Colt, it offers versatility in power and ammunition selection. The DA/SA action with an exposed hammer and transfer bar safety delivers familiar operation and reliable ignition.
Sighting is straightforward and precise with a pinned, fixed ramped front blade and a fully adjustable rear sight. Markings include "Made in Brazil" and "Taurus Int'l Mfg, Miami, FL – USA." This model (MFG Part No. 2-454069M) comes from the Raging Bull series that was later discontinued and succeeded by the Raging Hunter line.
